The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is hosting a series of roadshows across Northern Ireland aimed at engaging directly with farmers and the wider rural community on key strategic policy areas.

The Enniskillen roadshow takes place next Thursday evening, February 16, starting at 7.30pm at Enniskillen Campus.

Topics for discussion will include CAP Reform; the Development of a Rural Development Programme 2014-2020; and EU Compliance.

Launching the roadshows Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Michelle O'Neill said: "I encourage farmers, members of the rural community and other stakeholders to come along to these roadshow events, which will give everyone the opportunity to hear at first hand my Department's plans for the future, and for those attending to ask questions and give their views.

"The events will allow us all to engage directly with each other on the key areas of my Department, including key strategic policies and the range of work we are involved in."
