Top Greek side signs Roy
Tamlaght man Roy Carroll has signed for Greek side Olympiakos on an 18 month contract as he looks to finish his career on a high.
34-year-old Roy had been playing with another Greek club OFI Crete and previous to that had been with Odense in Denmark.
Olympiakos are the top side in Greek football, they defeated Arsenal 3-1 in this year's Champions League and finished third in their group.
They have, however, qualified for the Europa League and face Rubin Kazan in the last 32.
The former Manchester United keeper who started his career in the Fermanagh and Western with local sides Fivemiletown and Ballinamallard United told the club's website: "It's a real honour to be part of Olympiakos, Greece's greatest team. I'm really looking forward to the Europa League games and my own comeback to European competition."
He will also be hoping that this move and his performances could ressurect his Northern Ireland career with new manager Michael O'Neill now in place.
